A Gig Rating is an expression of the minimum level of talent the client is looking for. These ratings are determined using several variables: type of audio (Music, SFX, V/O), length of track requested, hourly rates, and whether the Gig is for a Buyout. The higher the Gig Rating, the more Gig Points artists need to join your Gig, and thus, the higher quality of submissions.

A special provision has been included for exciting projects with no budget for charitable organizations. Artists can be asked to submit work on an Exposure Only basis.� Essentially, clients are not offering any money for their work, but credit and exposure.�

We strongly recommend that clients explain in detail what credit the Artist will receive in the Artist Credit field and how it will help them to gain some recognition or other benefit.�
